Tyler Ford serves as Senior Director of Mentors with tnAchieves, the statewide non-profit partner to the TN Promise Scholarship. Prior to joining the tnAchieves team in May of 2018, he attended Iowa State University and worked for The Walt Disney Company in Orlando, Florida. In his role at tnAchieves, Tyler is responsible for recruiting, training and supporting more than 8,000 volunteer mentors annually. Tyler resides in Nashville with his wife Jessica!
Tyler will discuss the need for mentors to serve local students, recent data both from Blount County and across the state reflecting student success, and college-going metrics and new tnAchieves programs designed to enhance student success and support.
