Maryville Rotarian Jim Shamblin is a recently retired IT professional. He and his wife Sara, a semi-retired veterinarian, have enjoyed travelling to many places in the world, with a long bucket list to work through. In addition to traditional travel, Jim and Sara are both accomplished sailors, and have enjoyed sailing adventures in Thailand, Mexico, theChesapeake Bay, Narragansett Bay, and the Florida Keys down to the Dry Tortugas.
Jim and Sara relocated to East TN in 2021 and just completed their ‘last’ house. They are enjoying Maryville, the mountains, and the many new friends in the area.
In August, they took a trip to Egypt and Jordan and have some fascinating tales to tell us.
