“Together, we see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change — across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.”

KATELYN McGUIRE OF TN VALLEY COALITION FOR THE HOMELESS – Maryville Noonday Club – 28 Feb 2024

Katelyn will discuss the mission, impact, and programming of the Tennessee Valley Coalition for the Homeless on both a regional and Blount County level.

As the Executive Director, Katelyn brings her grant writing, nonprofit management, and strategic skills to the Tennessee

Valley Coalition for the Homeless – an organization with a purpose near to her heart. During her Bachelor of Science degree at Purdue University, Katelyn uncovered a love for public health, propelling her into the Master of Public Health program at that same university. Public health has countless definitions, but to Katelyn, it means making a difference within the communities you serve. Utilizing her skills to help create meaningful change within East Tennessee provides unparalleled fulfillment. Katelyn hopes that through serving as Executive Director, she can be a voice for those experiencing homelessness and work to develop more programming, resources, and partnerships in our East Tennessee community to serve our unhoused neighbors.
