Visit Knoxville Open (VKO) Golf Tournament: The Visit Knoxville Open Golf Tournament is part of the Professional Golf Association (PGA) Korn Ferry Tour which is just one level below the PGA main tour. The top 25 money winnersach year move up to the main tour. The Knoxville Open is the longest running tournament site on the tour–over 30 years. The tournament this year is May 19-26 at the Holston Hills Country Club. Charlie Clarkson, the Tournament Director, will tell us about all the activities that are associated with the tournament. Charlie lives in Franklin, TN. He started working for Tour Vision Promotions in 2017. Tour Vision Promotions manages the Visit Knoxville Open, the Korn Ferry Tour Championship, and the Atlantic Beach Classic on the Epson Tour. Charlie is currently the Tournament Director for the Visit Knoxville Open and the Atlantic Beach Classic. He has been married for 34 years and has two daughters. His hobbies are golf, snow skiing, and coaching youth athletics.
