Amy Moon and Connie Huffman, Blount Memorial Foundation – Noonday Club Speakers for 12 October 2021

Amy Moon Dunaway joined the Blount Memorial Foundation in the newly created role of Development Director earlier this year. In this role, she is organizing Foundation events, researching, and applying for grants, implementing donor recognition activities, and collaborating with the Foundation’s president and board of directors to create overall development plans to increase brand awareness and revenue. Amy spent the last nineteen years with Susan G. Komen East Tennessee. She was board member, the Director of Marketing and Fundraising, and served the last six years as Executive Director. She is a graduate of the 2019 class of Leadership Blount. Amy obtained a master’s degree in elementary education, as well as a bachelor’s degree in marketing, from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She is also a graduate of Maryville High School. She and her husband Seth have 2 teenage children, Gant 19 and Libby 15.

Connie Huffman has been with Blount Memorial for almost 24 years. She currently serves as the President and COO of the Blount Memorial Foundation and is an Assistant Administrator at Blount Memorial Hospital. Connie is a 2005 graduate of Leadership Blount and 2016 graduate of the East Tennessee Regional Leadership Academy (ETRLA). She is and always has been very active in the Blount County community, currently serving as a board member for Leadership Blount and the Chamber’s Joint Economic and Community Development Board (JECDB). Additionally, she is a sustainer member of Junior Service League (JSL) and a current member of Chilhowee Club. She holds a master of science degree in health services administration from the University of St. Francis in Joliet, IL and a bachelor of science degree in organizational management from Tusculum College in Greenville. Connie and her husband, John Huffman, reside in Louisville and have a 19-year-old son, “John Wilson” who is a freshman at the University of TN Knoxville.
